This book and podcast is past needed for all the people like me who grew up being fitted with pilgrim hats and Indian headbands made of construction paper for each school Thanksgiving while learning the Christopher Columbus poem. We gave clueless thanks while we conveniently erased slavery without truth and reparations first. Even if controversial, debated, doubted or also imperfect …. history books need a truth makeover.
