This has changed my life
I’m in seventh grade and found this in sixth grade my mom was so happy that my room all of a sudden had zero to little things on the floor and my surfaces have barely anything on them. I finally decided to write a review when I had gone through what I think is trauma, after a close Church family losses a child after the mom is thought to killing him then she is trying to commit suicide luckily found before death. After that, our high school football team was saying racist stuff to other teams and there was a walk out, and there was guns and it was scary and it was unsafe. Then a girl in our town was hit by a bus and flown out to the Chicago hospital, to be pronounced dead. Throughout this, I was scared I cried a lot. My room started to get in disarray, but then I listen to a podcast again and felt way better. I know being 12 you shouldn’t hear any of this. There was a prayer service I went to and that also helped, but it goes on news and I of course, was crying because I knew all this and my mom didn’t sugarcoat it, I got the complete story. I’m doing way better. My room looks amazing and I’m losing all the way. I gagged from eating way too much candy because of being scared. I came here to hopefully hear advice where my room wouldn’t look like a disaster and I wouldn’t give up mid clean and my drawer and just throw all my clothing back in it.
Great podcast, dumb ad breaks
I love this podcast! It’s helped me and my house SO much. I quote Dana at least a dozen times a day. Her process works! However- you’d think after 500+ episodes she would know how to transition to commercials argh!
Dana delivers inspiration!
I’ve been listening to Dana’s podcasts since 2018…I love her message, and I love her style of delivery. She’s so relatable and she offers practical, easy to follow advice! I just listened to Episode 528, and, yes…her words moved me to pre-order a physical copy of her book that’s coming out in October 2026, as well as pre-order it on Audible.
My favorite podcast
Well since I’m on episode 130 I suppose it’s time for me to stop procrastinating and write Dana a five star review; although I feel she deserves so much more than five. I have struggled with messiness all of my adult life and have recently moved into my own home. While I don’t always follow Dana’s advice and protocols, I do know my house looks better when I do! I am still working on getting myself into action. I have just preordered the book procrastinators get stuff done. I am so looking forward to learning more from someone who gets me. I’ve also appreciated the episode on project planning, and have realized papers are a huge problem for me. Had I not found this podcast I may never have known. Here’s to learning more about myself from a funny, and fun to listen to podcast. I listen morning and night and truly can’t get enough which is very weird to me, as this podcast is helping me who can’t stay clean to save my life really enjoy learning about cleaning and why I may have always struggled so hard. Dana, thank you so much for creating all this content. I was so surprised to see the podcast started in the early to mid 2000s and is still going. I love that, I’ve got lots more to listen to! I only wish the book was coming out sooner. Since I am in the 2017 episodes I thought it already had come out. I was happy to preorder and get a preview and some extra goodies. However, like I said I really can’t wait! October 6, are you here yet?!?! I’m going to go read the first chapter now. Looking forward to finding everything else you have put out into the world as time allows.
Works for me and my brain
I’m a serial organizer/declutterer. I started with FlyLady, then Alejandra, and both were good but Dana’s ways and methods worked so well. It took me awhile to embrace and figure out the decluttering method, but I finally did and it works!! She taught me how to do the dishes every day and that was also a game changer for me. Love love love!!
