Alan Watts Being in the Way

A whimsical delight.

Like water, Alan’s words flow effortlessly, to the low and loathsome places, lifting and guiding everything around them. It’s his humor, pace and inflection that make these sessions so wonderful. As opposed to reading his words, here, you get a sense of what is meant (to be felt) by his writing. Something I think he would enjoy greatly. A true treasure.

I have been reading or listening to Alan Watts since serendipitously encountering The Book about 40 years ago. His ideas are evergreen, his foresight is still shining a light into the future, and his compassion is present in every word. Thank you, Mark, for your efforts tending your father’s flame.

Thank you so much for sharing these here, Mark! I really appreciate having such an easy access point to the words of your father. His teachings have permanently altered the trajectory of my life in the best way possible.
