Motivational and Educational
I love listening to their genuine passion for animals and conservation. The deep dives on individual species and focus on local conservation efforts is really inspiring.
Educational, entertaining and inspiring
I found this podcast by accident a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier! Each episode has taught me so much and inspired me to take better care of our planet!
Changed my Life
This podcast literally changed my life. Back in 2020, I was a naive, ignorant college student that loved animals and was looking for a podcast that covered a species every episode. Luckily I found this one which was exactly what I was looking for, and I was hooked. I didn’t know that I was so blind to all the horrific struggles animals go through. I didn’t know anything about conservation. At the time, I was starting my degree in animation. I would get fired up when learning more and more about what humans do to wildlife that I needed to do something. I changed my degree to filmmaking to pursue making films on wildlife conservation to help spread awareness and inspire change. Now with my degree done, I am now showrunning a documentary-series on animal rescue called Rescuers. Two episodes are out now on YouTube and we hope to make many more (@rescuersdoc). This podcast taught me and inspired me to get involved. I thank Angie and Chris so much for educating me and so many other people on the beauty and the struggles of animals. I’ve come a long way and have all my years ahead dedicated to wildlife. I tell everyone this is where I got my start, and I’ve never looked back. Thank you All Creatures Pod!!
Disappointed Ep:215 and False
Ep 215:crested Porcupine was such a disappointment I came to the show thinking I found a show that may talk about different animals that I have and learn more, and learn new animals. However listening to this episode I realize that you’re better reading an editorial on things they didn’t research. Half the episode doesn’t talk about the topic of Crested Porcupine, instead talking about desert which I know is habitat but too much about stuff other than topic at hand. THEN she starts talking about the crested porcupine and admits never seen. She give ALOT of false information that a simple search could have saved her from being wrong about the topic she’s talking about. She talks about barbs, and how many they got and what the function…. Do your homework…. Crested Porcupine DO NOT have barbs. So for me This ends a promising podcast I thought could be a new fav , because it shows they don’t care to do basic research much less talk to an expert.
