Wonderful podcast for music discovery. Always find new artists I love from NPR music!

New music Friday is a gem! It keeps me up to date on new releases and I learn about so many new artists and bands I wouldn’t otherwise. You can tell how much the hosts (both the regular ones and the rotating guests) all love finding and sharing new music. So highly recommended.

I’m a big music lover and am almost embarrassed to say that I just recently discovered this podcast. But I am enjoying it so much that happiness at discovering so much great new music is no doubt the biggest emotion I’m feeling. I love the presentation and style of the various shows, along with the openness to welcome all types of music and artists. It’s been a wonderful experience not just from downloading a new release after listening to a show, but also from the concerts and albums from newly-discovered artists that have added to my love of music. Keep up the great work!

This is a great source for a wide range of music. However, can’t NPR get hosts who don’t sound like juniors in high school with all the vocal lilts and the incessant use of “like” and “you know,” and “I feel like”? Can’t this show try to sound more professional? Thank god that, on a podcast, I can fast forward through the immature-sounding hosts’ vocal tics.

The NPR Music Podcast has been a long-time source for some of my most beloved music. The NPR Music team curates a diverse range of music and continually delights me with new music. I love the variety of episodes and how they include DJs/hosts from radio stations from across the country as guest reviewers. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who loves getting turned onto great new music and artists!
