And a family’s desperate search for the truth.  One tragic night in 2018, what began as an NRL grand final party in a quiet town on the Queensland coast spiralled into a storm of lies, drunken embellishment and a bungled emergency response. It’s never enough

No matter the answers it will never ever bring you peace. I live with my tragedy every single day. Dean may not have disclosed everything but given his age and the way the situation was brought on him… can’t blame him for shutting down. Good luck to all of you.

I’ve listened to hundreds of podcasts on dozens of different topics. This one is the worst.

I had one question after listening to the first 3 1/2 episodes of this podcast. Why is the “reporter” so biased against a crime victim who did everything right and who’s paying the reporter to express that opinion and only that opinion? Because no sane person would come to than opinion organically. Also, why is the reporter’s opinion so clear? I kept listening after the first episode thinking, “Well, clearly they know something they haven’t told the listeners yet. It’ll all make sense when all the facts are revealed.” Nope. Nothing was revealed. All I got was an interview with the father of one of the criminals who said his son would never do such a thing. Believe this podcast’s ratings. The only true crime here is that they stole two hours of my life and the only mystery is why they ever made in the first place.

Biased Host - Trash Reporting

Apparently you should ask strange men who break down your door and assault you if - when they’re not violently drunk - they’re “good people” with families. Australia has a DV problem with women and children dying weekly and I see why.

Trying to make something from nothing

A not very satisfying attempt to dig up an old case and create a controversy. Mediocre.

Lame

The host is so smug. Keeps saying “I don’t have an opinion” when he clearly does. First time I’ve ever been on the cops side.
