bye bye

after having this in my feed for quite a while i’m removing after Justin’s questionable bias softball interview a couple episodes ago. apparently it’s OK to be racist now as long as your package your views in highly educated prose.

Sick to my stomach

(One star only because I had to put something). Listening to the “interviewer” kiss Christopher Rufo’s butt was the last straw. I actually felt sick to my stomach. You just gave an evil, racist crybaby an open platform to present his skewed, unfounded and simply untrue narrative. You did not challenge one single imaginary “fact” he presented. And you thanked him so obsequiously that I visibly cringed. BBC news, my a**. This is not journalism. This is pandering. Sickening.

Heavily Biased and non-Factual

I was hoping for a nice informed offshore view of America and our politics, but instead, what I hear is uninformed opinion lacking even basic facts and stale left-wing talking points. This podcast is a waste of time, and very uninformative.

Disappointed by the turn this show has taken

I’m from the US with no significant connection to Britain, but I started following during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic because it was comforting to me to have a source for down-the-middle, fact-based reporting. I never found it totally unbiased but it had a unique skew compared to US news sources, which is always helpful. I continued to follow for another five years or so because I found the outside perspective on American politics fascinating. The last few times I’ve tuned in, it’s been impossible to listen to a whole episode without right-wing drivel. For that reason I’m unfollowing. Disappointing!
