Arsenal Podcast?
Decided to try this podcast out. Half an hour into episode 879 and I’ve now listened to half an hour of a politics podcast.
Arsenal Football stuff is great
Arsenal football stuff is great. It tends to get bad when it veers of course into other stuff

I’m an Arsenal Fan because of Arseblog
I’m an American and was not born into a football watching family. I fell in the love with the game watching world cups. I started following the premier league and I need to choose a club to follow. It was the 2014/15 season. I liked watching Arsenal - Ozil, Sanchez, Corzola were so fun to watch. They seemed like a team on the brink of big success. My first time going to a pub to watch a game was versus Man City in January 2015. We won! And I knew I had my team. I soon found the Arseblog and started listening to Andrew and James. And the pod became my Arsenal community. Arsenal did not go on to success. The 2014/15 season was the final throes of Wenger’s brilliance. I picked my team at the start of a big downturn. If you grow up an Arsenal fan, if you’re born into it, your interest may wane, but you’ll always be an Arsenal fan, it’s just a part of you. But as a person who “chose” Arsenal, it felt like I could walk away. This was no fun. This was depressing. And with the rise of Man City and their spending, it felt like I chose a team that would eventually be irrelevant. But I stayed and the reason wasn’t because of Arsenal. It was because of Andrew and James. I loved listening to them. Their humor and decency. I didn’t want to give up the Arsecast so I kept watching Arsenal. And I’m so glad I did. Watching this team struggle and overcome such adversity has been phenomenal and so meaningful. I’m so happy for these players - they deserve it so much. And I’m so excited for what’s ahead. Thank you Andrew and James for connecting me to this football club.

A wonderful podcast about all things Arsenal, both the men and women’s teams. I particularly love the weekly Arsecast Extra episodes—the hosts have great chemistry, are funny, but also remain focused and are never reactionary. I look forward to hearing their breakdowns of the games each week. Hopefully this season finishes strong with some more “goodly mornings”!
