This guide to the month ahead will help you to settle deeper into the seasons. On the first of the month, nature writer Lia Leendertz presents natural history, music and folklore in our engaging patchwork format. While in our mid-month Found Sounds series, field recordist Alice Boyd meets people inspired by folk arts and the landscape. As the Season Turns is created by Ffern, makers of small-batch, seasonal perfume. To find out more visit www.ffern.co Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for m...

Talking too fast

I like the idea of this podcast but the speaker is talking way too fast I do not find that relaxing at all! Would love this to continue but in a much slower format.

Pure joy

Soothes my soul to listen to Found Sounds.

Brilliant. Lovely. Favorite!

I look forward to these episodes every month. Found Sounds is such an auditory treat! Alice Boyd is a brilliant creator and interviewer, and the folk music is wonderful as well. I’d like to see links in the show notes for the musicians and artists so I can add some of the folk goodness to my music stash!

Quite Peaceful Necessity in Such a Busy World

I am new to the Ffern community. Although I have heard of the foundation and other endeavors of the creators, I was unaware that I would stumble upon such a lovely podcast which allows me to unwind, while being immersed in the simplicity of the tranquil, albeit unaltered beauty of nature and the calming human voice. What a treat to stumble upon whilst seeking peacefulness in such an abnormally busy and chaotic world. Cheers!

I can’t wait for the next one

I feel like I received such a gift stumbling onto this gem of a podcast. The episodes are so calming. I love that there is real magic and whimsy with these wonderfully basic topics. My heart rate slows when I listen and I feel like a young child enjoying the simplest of pleasures. Thank you for having the courage to capture such simplicity and natural beauty. 🥰
