Haviv does a wonderful job providing historical context to current world events and connecting events together to propose practical courses of action. He’s respectful of his guests’ expertise and draws on that to supplement his own analysis. I look forward to each new episode.

The Evangelical world view is the most Philosemitic in the world. Speaking as an evangelical, I have seen incredible resistance to the current antisemitic temptation. Anyone in my network who has been spouting off that trash has been sidelined and marginalized. There is no world in which Ruth can hate Naomi, therefore there is no world in which the church can be anything but a thankful and faithful friend to the Jewish people. In addition to her read on the evangelicals, Batya ended on the right note. Put off this “poor me! I’m oppressed nonsense.” It’s a lie. They have leaned into traditional family arrangements and a positive/optimistic disposition towards their Nation. Now they are the only western nation to be above replacement rate. Trust reality! Bad ideas fail! Good ones don’t! Good people are good people because of how they live not because of how they were born. Zionism, free markets, and traditional time tested values that all find their root in Jerusalem. And this party has believed this for longer than most have been alive.
