Axe of the Blood God: An RPG Podcast

The podcast was much better when Kat was still on the show. I hope she comes back someday. While I do appreciate new regular host Victor Hunter’s perspectives, he sucks the air out of the room. He dominates conversation and often leaves Nadia and Eric sitting on the sidelines. I didn’t know I could be so tired of a professional VA’s voice. Would give 2.5 stars if Apple Podcasts would allow it.

Been listening for 4+ years. Kat leaving ruined the show and Victor is insufferable. Just so smug and pretentious.

Sorry I used to love this show but the recent host switch up really tanked it. I tried listening for a while but I just can’t enjoy it anymore, had to stop listening. The show just has so much more negativity now

Not trying to be rude but it’s to the point that I just skip episodes if Victor is the lead. He hogs the conversations and often has… unique takes. Example - in an episode about Adventures of Elliot, why is 80% of the talking done by Victor who didn’t even play the game???

I used to really enjoy this show when Kat and Nadia were hosting. Lately, they just seem to have run out of new interesting topics. Adding Victor as a permanent host has been very unfortunate and damaging to the brand. The show has devolved into a lot of sexist overtones from the "bro" and feels like a morning zoo show at times. Victor goes on his tired Anti-AI tirades frequently to seemingly hear himself parrot ideas he read somewhere. I was really close to backing on patreon right before Kat left, now I'm unsubscribing and will no longer be listening.
