Used to love!!
I’ve been listening since the start but you can tell they aren’t putting as much effort planning topics or conversations for this podcast anymore. Sometimes it feels like they put all their effort into their Patreon and they have nothing to bring to the actual podcast
Lacking substance
I really wanted to enjoy Basically Unfiltered, but Heath and Alicia just don’t bring much substance to the table. Remi and Zane are the reason I still tune in. Zane might act like an airhead sometimes, but he can actually hold conversations with some depth, and Remi obviously can too. Heath, on the other hand, drives me a little crazy with the revolving door of accents and personalities. One minute it’s a very put-on flamboyant accent, then a Jersey accent, and now it feels like yet another new voice and persona. It comes across as disingenuous and distracting rather than funny. And Alicia… does she really contribute much? It feels like most of what she adds is just repeating “period, literally” over and over. I keep hoping for more thoughtful input or perspective, but it rarely happens. At this point, Remi and Zane carry the podcast for me. Without them, I probably wouldn’t keep listening.
Episode Title
Love the show!! But can the name for the episodes on YouTube and on here be consistent because sometimes it does just get confusing and it looks like a new episode. Also c an we have more guests on the podcast that would be great!
Trying to love it
Sometimes I feel like the friend trying to fit into a conversation when I’m listening to this. I love them all individually and love pretty basic. But this one kinda feels like I’m listening to their own conversation with their own inside jokes that if u don’t know them you wouldn’t understand what they’re talking about. So I weirdly feel like the third wheel when I listen hahaha not much substance here. But love both podcasts individually!
Love it
Has been a while since I listened took a break but it’s good to be back!
