Bible Book Club

Sometimes when we have a million things to do it’s easier to listen than it is to sit still and read. They walk through the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse, providing historical context, cultural background, and thoughtful commentary along the way. One of the things I appreciate most is how they continually connect the Old Testament to the New Testament, helping you see the incredible story God has been telling from beginning to end. I also love the free printable resources they provide that helps to visualize what they are explaining. If you've ever felt intimidated by the Bible, wondered where to start, or struggled to understand how everything connects, I highly recommend giving it a listen. It's been such an encouraging and enriching resource for me.

Heather and Susan create such a fun and conversational study each morning. You feel like you are another person part of the conversation. The conversation, history, and preparation are rich. This is the first study to grasp my attention to the point where I’m excited to study alongside them each morning! I have not missed a day in 2 months!I also enjoy the extra documents in the show notes and have been creating a small binder with those! Thanks, ladies, for making my mornings brighter and meaningful with the Word of God!

I listened to episode 1 and then 2 and 3 and couldn’t believe how clearly and simply everything is being explained! I stopped at the third, subscribed and now going over again from the beginning, taking my notes(that is how I process the best). So informative, so packed, very delightful voices and perfect talking speed! Lord, thank you for giving Heather and Susan wisdom and time to put this all together and share with the world. Amen.

to listen to each day. I’m currently working through the Leviticus study and have found it very helpful overall. That said, I’ve noticed a few minor factual inaccuracies. In one episode, a passage was cited as coming from Ephesians when it was actually from 1 Corinthians. Additionally, the book of Hebrews is referred to multiple times as being authored by Paul, even though the majority of modern biblical scholars do not attribute its authorship to him. These issues are relatively small and do not detract from the core truths being taught or the value of the study. However, they serve as a reminder that, as with any teaching resource, it can be helpful to verify specific claims and references when listening.

First, I’m never one to leave reviews especially for an app or podcast. But this podcast has been incredible. Susan and Heather are a great team and have this easy-to-understand way of explaining each book and chapter of the Bible. The episodes are only 40-30 minutes so it’s not overwhelming. I’m so grateful I found this (thanks to a co-worker).
