The Families Deserve Better

I came to this podcast to hear important stories about missing and murdered Black women, not to sit through an overwhelming amount of ads. Every episode is at least 15-20 minutes of ads. The latest episode felt like 10 minutes of content and 20 minutes of advertising. It’s frustrating to hear repeated discussion about how society ignores missing Black women while their stories are also being heavily monetized for personal gain. These cases deserve thoughtful, respectful coverage, and the constant interruptions made the episode feel insensitive. I’ve unfollowed.
