Bookends with Mattea Roach

I live in the US as do many many of your readers, Louise. I didnt appreciate your negativity re the US or the tone of your remarks. I didn’t listen all the way through. I enjoy your books. I will keep reading them but I’d rather think of you as what I have imagined and not what I just heard. Very disappointing. I detected the same attitude with Mattea as well. We as citizens of our great country the USA aren’t graced with the options that our leaders choose to make.

What a pleasure to listen to a young person who is so educated, well spoken and prepared in every aspect! I could listen to you read a dictionary. Your cadence is beautiful. *I listened to the Kate Bush episode 3 times!!! Shares it with all my friends who are more evolved when it comes to music.

Dear Ms. Wachtel, It was upsetting to hear you are ending your podcast—-selfishly I wish you would continue doing it forever. There is no podcast I look forward to more—-I know it will be the most interesting, intelligent and enlightening hour of the week, without equal. As I am not a writer I do not have the words to adequately and appropriately thank you—-for an hour of bliss each week, for introducing me to authors I would otherwise never have known of—-many many thanks. You will be greatly missed. I can hope you write several volumes of memoirs !
