Books Around the Block

I have found my people! I love that they read the same genre of books I read. Their recommendations also encourage me to step outside the box a little. My new fave podcast! Currently going back and listening to all of the old episodes to gather all of the good info.

I have been looking for a book podcast with my kind of people forever and FINALLY! After listening to just one podcast, I am hooked and I will be listening to the rest ASAP.

I’ve been enjoying this podcast and have actually tried several of the “obsessed” items mentioned in the show. I enjoy listening to the episodes on the way home from work I almost feel like I’m part of the conversation at times.

I just found this podcast and have spent the day bingeing it! Having the most fun with these ladies and all of their book talk!

I rarely, if ever, have left a review for a podcast, but after listening to this week’s past episode of the show that I have tried repeatedly to like I feel moved to leave a review. The voices of the ladies are so screechy and the squealing that they do has been irritating from episode one. I could get past that though because I like hearing opinions about what everyone is reading. However, on the most recent episode, the ladies proceeded to refer to someone with a limb difference as having a stump and then laughing hysterically and even voicing the fact that they had never laughed so hard before. Again, this is after picking on someone and their disability. I cannot listen to the show anymore and endorse that kind of behavior. It was disappointing and cruel.
