Love this show!

As a PNW sports fan living in Oregon, the Brock & Salk show fills my sports news void for my beloved Mariners and Seahawks! Thanks for bringing it everyday 💪 And maybe the best reason to listen on Apple Podcasts - I can skip the freakin’ ads!!!

Let’s go make history coach

Listening since 13 and now I’m 30 - wow what is going on? My secret wish is to sit in on a show. Maybe one day… As a young dad of two now, this show really is the happy place when there is zero energy left and the sound of Salk’s rants and Brock’s giggles drift me into a slumber with milk bottle stains and snot on my t shirt …. Wait I just snoozed listened to 3hrs of the show and am waking to a random interview with Daniel Passan and Jeff Jeremiah? No…That can’t be right - I must be dreaming. Better hit replay. In all seriousness, every once in a while I’ll make my wife listen to a 15 second clip of Salk going off the rails ripping someone or everyone just laughing making fun of the Rams together. Maura, you truly are a legend. (Lyle I miss you buddy. Also Justin. Also Boy howdy… whoever fills the 4th wheel seat next, no pressure, you’ll probably be gone too soon as well) Who knows? Maybe it’ll be me? Only in my wildest dreams…

An institution, an inspiration

I’ve been listening to this show since I was 13, now I’m 30. Living out of state now, I’m really grateful for this steady connection with my Seattle roots. Brock and Salk are great compliments to each other, and it’s actually inspiring how they overcame their differences - something we need more of in this world! Sometimes I miss the younger Salk’s passion for storytelling. Maybe the fact that our teams are better now means the stories tell themselves — or maybe he’s just gotten grumpier with age. Remember the 2009 Wakamatsu Mariners? On the daytime show Salk really animated that team’s ride and inspired me as a young sports fan. Thank you guys for being there all these years (except for when Salk abandoned us). It’ll be a sad day when there’s no more Brock and Salk on the airwaves.

Great, personable Seattle sports news.

Writing a review because Salk said to do it. I’m not a huge sports person, but Brock and Salk make it easy to listen to, learn about and talk about what’s going on in Seattle sports, especially the Mariners. Absolutely a podcast worth your time if you can’t pick it up live from 6am to 10am weekdays… even without Lyle.

Always good
