Poor audio quality mars this particular episode (741). I guess I need to read the transcript. Normally this is not a problem and I really enjoy the podcast.

I really appreciate many things about this podcast, but find myself drifting away from it for extended periods of time because of the amount that Rick inserts himself in the interviews. I wish he would simply ask his guests questions rather than constantly injecting his perspectives, autobiography and knowledge base into every interview. I can hear how off putting it is to some of his guests… particularly women. If you want to teach Rick, go teach. In this format, everyone is better served if you lean back and let your guests shine.

The variety of this podcast is only one of the great things about it. I really enjoy the mix of perspectives as well as the diverse topics!
