Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, this show explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Cold Case Files is hosted by Paula Barros.

STOP FORCING SHOWS

Haymarie12115/31/2026

I will rate higher when you stop shoving down your recommended shows down everyone’s throat. And every single time, no it’s not something I would like. Also no new content! All recycled episodes and recommendations for shows you don’t even want to listen to

Bill please

Brooke is kinda awful. Especially when she starts moralizing. I don’t need a kid asking me what questions I should be asking myself. Where is Bill Kurtis

Awful audio

Are the interviews spliced? It sounds like TikTok influencer posts where the words a smashed together and the syllables are slurred. I didn’t make 10 minutes into the episodes and I had to bail. Terrible.

Incorrect Pronunciation

Dear God. How offensive can you be? In the episode about Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman, the host didn’t pronounce Lauria’s name correctly the entire time. So frustrating. Do your MINIMAL homework before presenting a case, including how to say the victim’s name. Zero credibility.

The Victim’s Name episode 188

How hard is it to pronounce the name Laura? The host pronounced it “Lor-ria” the entire episode when the victim’s mother clearly says Laura. Of all the names to mispronounce, the victim’s is the one name people should get right.
