Informative and Well Resourced

Fatal Foxglove3/26/2026

Well presented information, everything is available in the show notes so you can go listen and read for yourself. I don’t always agree with the politics, but the information isn’t predigested so it’s easy to go form your own conclusion. I really appreciate that all the hearings and bills and historical votes are in one place so I can get to them easily and for other bills I’m interested in I can use the same locations to find my resources. Great job Jen.

Don’t love the Green Party voting but you’ve never voted In a swing state(Massachusetts,Hawaii, and California aren’t going to be and Texas won’t be for a long time) so it’s fine(bonus points for looking at stein in 2012 unlike most of her voters who were ex Bernie bros in 2016,or Palestine activists in 2024). Also you in an earlier episode mentioned 1st term trump moving the Republican Party left on some issues, and I’m wondering since you’ve been in Europe so much what you’re thoughts are on my theory that the MAGA base is a kinda European Christian democratic party(CDU in germany,KDU in Czechia,la republicans in France, both Fine Gael and finna fall in Ireland that type of party) style base as Christian democracy party is famously supposed to be left economically and right socially? Just wondering. Small correction for 238 the MIC speech is Dwight Eisenhower not FDR

Great information on bills and who is voting for them but doesn’t shut up about her own political takes and not making enough money.

Jen is Smart-You Snowflakes Can’t Handle It

I enjoy listening to this podcast because Jen not only provides in depth information on bills and congressional activity, she infuses her own insight and humor into each recording. Her perspective on legislation is practical as well as rich in historical and empathetic context. She is an advocate for the American people and humanity.

Nuts and bolts of our government

I believe she does a wonderful job breaking down what goes on in the House of Representatives and in our government overall. Get past all the manure and gets right down to the ground level information. The citizens of the United States really need. I give her two 👍
