Crime at Bedtime

Frustrating
Recently found this podcast and it became one of my go-tos. But the most recent episode includes a victim who is trans and it’s not clear whether they were a trans woman (as the narrator stated) or a trans man (as the use of pronouns by the narrator suggests). Immediately makes me question the rest of the story telling when an inconstancy like that arrises, especially where a victim - who should be recovering utmost care, respect and dignity - is concerned. I do think this is probably an oversight / misunderstanding on the part of the host based on their other content so I’m not ready to jump ship over what I think is a mistake, but I did find it jarring a listener though I guess I should be doing my own due diligence fact checking anyway. I will still recommend this show on the understanding no one is perfect and that if I had my own show I’m sure I’d make tons of mistakes and then some.
Nice backup
“Dead Sleep” is #1 best true crime bedtime for my insomnia but this is nice backup
My new bedtime routine!
Love the breathing sequence and story. Thank you. 😊
Genius
What a brilliant concept! I love the break for the short but effective 4-6-7 breathing. Putting the ads at the beginning makes it possible to truly let go and be present for the experience. I would love if there were a couple longer episodes for the nights when it takes me a bit longer to deactivate. Thank you for making this show!
