Happy 300!
I’ve never met you guys but I’ve been with you for the past 5 years. I legitimately teared up during the “We didn’t Start the Podcast” song. Thank you guys for all you do!
My Favorite Marvel Champions Podcast
I never thought I’d speak so highly about a podcast dedicated to evil. The hosts get along amazingly well for a group of villains, and go out of their way to mentor and highlight up-and-coming evildoers. Each episode is chaotically funny and informative. The show has a loose format, but that goes out the window if the hosts come up with something more interesting and thematic. Out of all the gaming content I listen to, there’s nothing quite like this. Most importantly, it gets me excited to play Marvel Champions. Even when shuffling cards is the last thing I want to do, the hosts’ infectious enthusiasm for the game inspires me to return to whichever villain or modular set is featured in this week’s episode. On a more serious note: I appreciate that they’re not afraid to get political. I’ve listened to way too many gaming podcasts that avoid politics completely just to protect their numbers. Marvel has always been political, and ignoring that only serves to protect the status quo. These guys wear their hearts on their sleeves. As a longtime nerd and gamer, it’s really refreshing to hear.
Host called suburban Minnesota racist.
In one of the latest episodes, ep. 282, one of the hosts called suburban Minnesota racist. I find this completely untrue and offensive. I don’t have time for a podcast like this. I came here for Marvel Champions, not insults.
Yay
Good job
Great show, great info, great people
Awesome show. I've been a listener for years and recently even had the pleasure of being a guest on one of the episodes. Love these guys and their villainous ways. Even if you're not a fan of Marvel Champions, theres enough pure Super Villain lore in this show to entertain you. I'm just sorry its taken me this long to leave a review!
