Curiosity to growth

Came here out of curiosity, stayed because I have learned so much through apologia ministries and Alpha and Omega Ministries.

Platforming Racists

Aries556/23/2026

Former religious cult member interested in all things that investigate this topic and its education and recovery. And instead am listening to a Christian who is saying that is degrading Asian people as a whole and saying yoga is demon worship bc Hindu gods are demons. This is not thorough investigative work. This is platforming bias and racism.

Very insightful

I’ve recently been meeting with some Later Day Saints missionaries. It’s been really interesting learning about what they believe. Hasn’t heard about preexistance before. That’s interesting. I may need to add that to our discussions

Good dialogue

I was born & raised LDS (Mormon), and was converted (in a dramatic way by God’s grace) to Christianity through front-to-back reading of the New Testament which resulted in (to my shock!) an encounter with the real Jesus. I love their insights on this topic of Mormonism especially. The best part is, the hosts use God’s word as the lens with which to compare all belief systems. The dialogue is respectful and loving towards the LDS rather than a prideful “gotcha!” These men are following New Testament instruction to discuss topics of belief with gentleness and respect; but also with the truth of God’s word.
