Curiosity Weekly

Here is why I like Curiosity Weekly. It sits neatly between two other science podcasts that I also like. I listen to Something You Should Know and I like it, even thought I wish that Mike Carruthers would sometimes read or at least scan the books written by his guests. Sometimes his questions tend to dumb down the interview too much. At the other end, I listen to Inner Cosmos and I like it, even though I wish that David Eagleman could remember that not all of his listeners are either practicing neuroscientists or studying to be one. I sometimes get a little lost when he and his guests forget to define their terms. But Jameen does her interviews just right. Perfect blend of expertise, obvious preparation and understandability.

It might be helpful that instead of self congratulations for now being enlightened, look at where today’s truth tellers are currently being persecuted.

I love this podcast and feel so much more informed. I love the experts you have on that delve into the small details on the subjects of their expertise. My community is in a fight to stop a carbon capture company from opening. I’d love to understand the pros and cons of this technology and which side of the aisle I need to be on for the safety of our environment and future generations

Thank you for taking the time to do these, I absolutely love listening to these in between the doom podcasts that I also subscribe to. I was wondering if you could explore the topic of climate change. I am college grad and remember the basics I learned about it, but the older I get the more I forget how exactly it is that humans cause climate change. Could we dive into it? There are so many septics of climate change, I’d love to brush up on my knowledge of it in order to speak on that topic. Thanks again!
