Obsessed

I am obsessed with this show. So interesting, so educational, and so entertaining. Keep doing what you’re doing, Dan. This Yank is here for it!

Great podcast among the greats

explodingbolts•9/24/2026

In a time rife with exceptional history podcasts, Dan's stands out among the best. My only wish is that there was something in the episode titles to delineate an episode as being part of a specific series. Sometimes you learn that a fantastic episode is part of a wider series and you really have to dig in to figure out what the other episodes are. Otherwise HH is an absolute go-to when I can't take any more of our modern times.

Only 1 Complaint

I wish episodes were longer. The end. Keep up the good work!

Generally good guests, but …

Geez, this guy is, in the end, just another small-minded hack TDS sufferer, and just can’t resist getting in his digs. From hosting an entire episode here with the authors of a panned-by-most hit piece “book” on the horrors of Donald Trump as “history” to finding ways here and there in an episode to compare DJT to the most evil leaders in history. Yet, like all low-IQ podcasters and TV hosts he gives zero examples of the actual unforgivable transgressions - or his own solutions! Typical. Sorry, but I can’t subsidize lazy intellectual exercises. I urge you to look elsewhere as well.
