Traces of Suspicion

Psychotherapist here with 25 years of experience. There has always have always medicated grief and trauma with sexual acting out, alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc. whether folks “agree with” this as an acceptable response is immaterial to the reality. And, the unconscious reactive mob has always gone after the fallen woman. Many of the folks that we heard from in this podcasts, were the types that believe (though they would deny it) that the Cindys of the world “deserve” to be found guilty because of their sexual behavior alone and their “disrespect” to some man. As a society, we are weighed down by this thinking. It’s so old.

Major bummer

I LOVE Dateline. I’ve always rated it a 5 star with a glowing review. This new Dateline Original “The Raid” is awful. The host is painful to listen to!! Change can be good but in this case, I have to pass no matter how good the story might be. The narrator can make or break a podcast. Jay just doesn’t do it for me. AT ALL!!!

Absolutely one of the best podcast series that I have ever heard. Thank you for never giving up on J.J. J.J. is such an incredible human being.

This was one of the best, most emotional and heartfelt podcasts that I have had the pleasure of listening to. I couldn’t stop listening to JJ’s story. I wish I never had to… I am so glad he is free.
