Best podcast I’ve come across in a long time, and I’ve listened to hundreds. Binge Heaven.

Well researched and presented. What a sad story and an insane myriad of circumstances surrounding it. A map with critical timeline info would be incredibly helpful (crime scene, tree, all the neighborhood areas that were mentioned). I may see if you’ve published anything like that online. I would have liked to have heard about Tommy’s change of story sooner, although it also makes sense where it landed. I think a good possibility is that the perpetrator(s) watched Martha and Tommy’s interaction, watched her leave and then intercepted her. The the perp(s) would be covered in blood. But these were the original latchkey kids and employees cleaned their houses so it could have gone unnoticed. Sadly there’s likely no telling for sure what happened to Martha. What seems certain, is that there is little to evidence of any one person’s involvement — much less guilt. There’s no proof to convict any suspect in this case beyond reasonable doubt.

Just like everyone else, I assumed it was Michael skakle, cased closed. Now I’m really not so sure. There are other compelling reasons to why it would not be him, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Well done! I’ve passed it along to my mom friends group chat.

This podcast was incredibly researched and produced. The reporting was thorough and (unlike so much news these days) seemed to be relayed in an unbiased fashion. Well done, Mr. Goldman, and team! I hope you take up the mantle of other unsolved cases!!
