Dig Me Out: 90s & 00s Rock

If there is a podcast that can make music boring then this is it!! Talk about LOW energy!! One of the guys sounds like he is talking in his sleep!! Of the few that I have listened too they start off with this totally unnecessary voting bracket with LOTS of votes and tallies and percentages that mean absolutely NOTHING to me as a listener!! This is really an example of how NOT to make a music review podcast!! They are really just SO low key/ low energy that this a genuinely a boring podcast. Listened to: Guided by Voices, Jawbreaker and Massive Attack. Please try harder! Entertain me/ give me knowledge...don't put me sleep!!

Found this and wanted to listen to them discuss Mellow Gold but bounced when it was obvious one of the hosts was going to eat a meal through the entire podcast. Super gross.

And they want that joke back….Anyway do you like exploring more of the last decade that rock ‘n’ roll actually mattered? The show explorers in eclectic assortment of well-known and obscure 90s rock albums … diving in to production, songwriting and musical proficiency (when applicable) if that sounds like your jam check it out.

The idea is cool and I’m obviously listening because I love 90’s alt, but, dude, what is up with this? I feel like I’m listening to someone talk about music that other people care about. Not people who genuinely love this genre of music.

Excellent shows, covering the music I still mainly listen to. Spent my teens and twenties getting these CD’s while in the Toledo/ Detroit area. Keep up the great music reviews!
