Rothenberg is hands down the most annoying radio host of all time. His entire existence is based on receiving validation from his co workers or callers. Listen for a few days and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. He needs to be told he’s special. Maybe not enough attention from mom and dad as a kid. Aside from that he has such a whiney, annoying tone…it’s amazing that anyone at espn thought it would be a good idea to have him on the radio. Dude is a complete joke. Rick has moments where his insights are good. But the majority of the time he plays up this pre teen persona where he can’t go 10 min without making a dick joke. Grow up, dude. It’s funny once in a a while but you’ve way over played it. Not funny at all. Just annoying as hell now. Absolute worst show on espn.

The sarcasm and humor on the show can be A1. The camaraderie the guys have mantra the shoe a great listen for starting your morning and getting into your routine. There are days where I want less banter and more sports talk/deep dives. Dave’s sports knowledge is admirable though. I understand why he gets paid to talk sports.
