Worthless hack
All this obnoxious clown does is regurgitate other people’s work. There is ZERO nuance and nothing of worth added to existing historical accounts.
This is what “cool” means
I’ve been listening to this podcast for many years and it NEVER disappoints. Sometimes I’ll be doing errands or something and an episode pops up in my queue and every time I’m thrilled, enlightened, or crying - as with the Jeff Buckley episode. Jake himself is the epitome of cool and I appreciate his vast knowledge of rock & roll and indeed all kinds of music. I love you, Jake, please keep on doing what you do!
Oh yeah!
This is the podcast I’ve been waiting for found about about it from the “stuff they don’t want you to know” crossover love mystery music and weird history I’m so in and will listen to the whole back catalogue!! Thanks
Hillsborough Disaster, class act
I’ve been listening to this podcast for quite a while and I’ve enjoyed all of them. As an American English football fan, I knew about the Hillsborough match, but Jake’s depiction of the story really hit me. In an absolute class act, the names and ages of the 97 dead were read aloud at the end. When you listen to this episode, I challenge you to sit there and just listen. Don’t stop it and don’t skip ahead. Let yourself feel it.
I like it
I like this show. Good work😇Maybe just chill on the whining such as in the Whitney episode.
