Fantastic!

If you love Malcolm James McCormick even a fraction as much as I do, or don’t understand the hype for Mac Miller, I HIGHLY suggest season 9 on this insightful podcast. Wow. It’s like Cole (which is one of my sons names, I also hear he’s a sac state alumni too!) sees and feels lyrics like I do- except he’s a little more in depth and finds so many links to other songs… pieces and phases of Mac’s life…it’s incredible. He truly understands, respects and appreciates the lyrical genius that is Mac Miller. This podcast has a grip on me. Think I’ll be listening to his dissection of Radiohead as well. Thank you for showing such love to our boy. He is so insanely missed. Thank you for this gem, Cole!!! SO Well done!

The best

Came for the Radiohead season. Stayed for the rest. This pod has changed my life. I love music but have been a bit siloed into the same rock genre stuff I’ve been listening to for 20 years, and it was feeling a bit stale/boring. Now I think I like rap? Because of season 1, I can’t listen to To Pimp A Butterfly without tearing up by the end. I’m partway through the frank ocean season, trying to figure out the art. And I love love love the journey. Thank you to this podcast for helping me open up my mind to music in all its varied and incredible forms. My life feels richer.

Lux Rosalia

Great analysis of this album! I’ve been absolutely obsessed with this album since it was released. When this album refers to tires I believe it refers to an aspect of Rosalia’s identity since she is MOTOMAMI. Moto is spanish for motorcycle and mami alludes to femininity. Altogether I love how you explained this. It helped me to understand the cloudy parts
