Great production, insufferable christianity

Giving up on this one. The protagonist’s self-righteous, prescriptive Christianity is simply too obnoxious to bear. Add to that the unnecessary racism and it just ain’t worth it. Shame, the production quality is great.

The setting and story are both intriguing but it’s the characters and quality of sound design that he’d me binge this whole season. Thank you for adding this to the world, well done!

I am obsessed with this show!!

The show is seriously incredible! The subtle sound design, the incredible voice actors that take scenes to 11 all the time. And the writing! Lines like: “How you can know someone forever and not know that at all”. I am so glad I found this show, it’s a true gem!

Entertaining trip back to ‘40s radio

Aligaru8/12/2024

Fun pastiche of old-timey radio serials replete with wisecracking dames, a straight-arrow detective, a snarling femme fatale, and the inevitable neighing horse on the soundtrack. Crack voice actors sound straight out of the ‘40s milieu.
