Love this show!

My daughter has PCOS and has begun trizepatide and this podcast has been a great resource for information about Glp1’s, metabolic issues, weight loss, etc, etc. The style is laid back and interesting to listen to. Thanks, guys, for spreading great, science-backed information and sharing your personal experiences treating obesity and metabolic issues!

Best Non-Woo GLP-1 Info Podcast

Barbellarella5/26/2026

The vast majority of podcasts out there today that talk about GLP-1 drugs are not rooted in science. They tend to be from wellness gurus that praise microdosing for all individuals (which has no data to support its use) and suggest that after weight loss coming off the drugs is no problem because people will have established “new habits”, completely ignoring the biological disease that underpins higher weight for the majority of people. Docs Who Lift tell it like it is - and they do it with a hefty dose of science, published research, and their own experiences as an obesity doc and an endocrinologist. They don’t just talk about GLP drugs - they talk about the scientific underpinnings of why some people have higher weight bodies. They also have fantastic guests - people who actually do the research. If you want to understand metabolism, obesity, and health - this is the podcast for you.

Honest, balanced discussions

These doctors are good at highlighting what’s important in a clear and understandable way. They speak as practicing clinicians with a lot of experience, and offer practical, real world advice. Nothing fancy, just the facts and a compassionate view.

Legitimate medical advice

I really like this podcast. Navigating all the noise and stigma around how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It really is beneficial to have actual information grounded in data not speculation Keep up the good work wish I found you guys a long time ago.
