Dreaming Spanish Podcast – Chats in Beginner Spanish

This podcast is supposed to be for beginning Spanish speakers but all the hosts speak at full speed often in different Spanish dialects without any explanation of the topic beyond the title of the episode. I enjoy the Dreaming Spanish beginner videos, but this podcast is not helpful at all for someone who is not already fluent.

Hace una semana empecé escuchando este podcast para ver si era bueno para mi nieto de 16 años que está aprendiendo español. Me gusta que tiene una variedad de temas y profesores de unos cuantos países. Escuchando las chicas me hace pensar de mi nieta que siempre me encanta. Ella tiene 11 años pero a lo mejor va a cumplir 25 años en el próximo cumpleaños

I have been looking for a podcast exactly like this w/ people chatting casually about interesting and relevant subject matter. I find the pacing to be perfect for me to follow along - not ready for super speed native Spanish yet. And I LOVE that they feature different accents - especially Augustina because I’m trying to get better at understanding Argentinian accents!!!

Thank you for this resource! I love listening and then going back and watching the text as I listen. I screen shot phrases I don’t understand or complex sentence structure to further my learning. I love the different accents and perspectives from different countries! I love the video content, too!
