From the extensive research to the archival pieces, to the audio effects - this podcast took you back in time. You will be active, and play part in this story if you listen to this. It is not a passive experience. This should be recommended to students and artists interested in learning the depth of Fela Kuti’s life and music- what he stood for and the sacrifices he made to free Nigeria from the colonial mentality Thank you for your work on this because as a Nigerian Artist, I am changed. “The secret to life is no fear!!”

Mind-Blowing

This is one of the greatest podcast series ever. Yes, really. The sound design is mind-blowing. The show examines Fela Kuti, his music, his life, Nigeria, colonialism, politics, and the universe. “Brothers and sisters!” indeed!
