Films To Be Buried With with Brett Goldstein

What a great show. Love Brett, love all things he does. Currently burning through these episodes, can’t get enough. Ok, full disclosure - I love Nic Cage. I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help it. Some of his films I don’t watch, but a lot of his films I love. So, The Family Man is my favorite film, the film I love and no one else does, the film that I connect with, and the film I will take with me. It is such an honest film about choice. It makes you wonder if you made the right one? Also, I love The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. I love how he can make fun of himself in the absolute funniest way. Thank you for the outlet to represent yourself through films, I have been doing this my whole life. ❤️

Just as I’m about to give up hope on ever finding a middle-aged man with mindful masculinity I hear Brett Goldstein choose Inside Out (the film that means the most to me) as the movie of its decade. For that I’ll never forgive Mr. Goldstein and now I have to listen to other podcasts so my hope can die like nature intended.

I found this podcast bc of Jlo, loved the chat with Jlo. Their film was so good as well! I wish I knew this podcast existed (I've obviously been living under a rock). I will need to catch up to previous podcasts episodes. :-)

She deserves a tribute episode. She’s TRIXIE DELIGHT for crying out loud. Gone too soon and absolutely steals the show in Young Frankenstein as Elizabeth Benning (was Mel Brooks tweaking Jane Austen?!)—“Taffeta, darling!”
