Financial Crime Matters

Even as an ACAMS member, I am often confused as to the cases they are talking about as there is no background presented to the listener despite the years of investigations that each presented case undergoes. I would appreciate a longer show that delves into the background of the case so that I have context. Otherwise, I’m a third wheel joining a conversation that has been going for years and I have no idea where to pick it up.

The material and subject matter are very interesting and the host and guests are great, however the podcasts are way too short. Twice monthly, 10-20 minute episodes don’t offer a lot of value. The recent episode about human trafficking for example was really interesting, but I would hesitate to really call it an interview. The episode was more accurately a 10 minute exposition of the guest’s book, then just kind of ended. So good work, but the people want more! Aim for 40-60 minutes.

Such a great podcast! I work in the AML industry as an analyst and it’s so great to have our work represented so well in podcast media that I can enjoy during the workday.

My only compliant is that the episodes are so short. I wish they were longer and involved a more in-depth conversation.
