I have been listening to Finding Mastery since the start and I learn something new with every episode. Dr. Mike is able to create great conversations that make it feel like I’m in the room with them.

Dear Michael, I just listened to that episode you did with Nir Eyal on belief’s. I just wanted to tell you that I found this to be very true because in the past, I was having some difficulty falling asleep. I did not want to get into the whole medication thing. So what I did was take a white Tick Tack (knowing that it was placebo, but hoping it would work to give me some shut eye). To my amazement it did. Even though I knew it was a placebo. Love the content and have been listening for a long time. Have noticed the number of ads go up, what feels to be exponentially.

99% rock star quality.

So many great applicable takeaways, and encouraging insights.

Brian Werdesheim episode = irresponsible ad

Why exactly is this show dedicating an entire episode to what’s basically an ad for an active financial adviser charging a fee that is a percentage of assets under management (aka “AUM” fee)? What a sham. Notwithstanding CYA disclaimers, the show comes off as endorsing this guy. And it’s irresponsible, *especially* to financially illiterate / indebted listeners. As one (not necessarily THE - everyone should do their own research) counterpoint, I would suggest people look into the Bogleheads philosophy - minimize fees (which start you out in the red), by investing in globally-diversified low-cost passive index funds.
