Gilmore To Say: A Gilmore Girls Podcast

Immature
Mean girl vibes. I sincerely hope LG’s team (or any other celebrity) sees through them, thoroughly vetting to consider another amazing GG podcast hosted by other more humble women, than choose this one, should LG go on a podcast again (or other celebrities.) The person who says “um” does not read reviews either, so how seriously do these girls consider feedback if committed to improving their skills? However, I have noticed less use of this filler word of late, so maybe they’ve reevaluated their approach. Recently, I think this podcast has improved in several ways including content development, insight, and presentation of thought. I don’t care for the term “loser-yucko,” as it sounds a little immature, but hey it’s not my podcast. And not that I favor adding a man to make something better, but I think Brett’s commentary and presence takes away a bit from the mean girl vibes. They are fun episodes. Periodic rewrites of podcast reviews can be valuable for new listeners seeking to gauge whether a show has truly evolved or remained stagnant. While early episodes often attract harsher critiques as creators find their voice, a refreshed assessment can reveal whether the hosts have refined their craft or simply persisted without growth. As someone new to a podcast, I appreciate knowing if the negative feedback reflects initial growing‑pains or a lingering lack of maturity—especially since many podcasts launch enthusiastically only to fade when progress stalls. Unfortunately, it seems the hosts may have taken a lighthearted jab at my rewrites, but that very moment underscores the importance of transparent, updated commentary for anyone deciding whether to invest in a series. Don’t try to play a drinking game with the word “quite.” Time enough. I kept hoping this podcast will get more mature, but alas. Wayyyyy too many um’s. Peace, girls. ☮️
Fun to listen too on runs and rainy days!
Love your podcast! I’ve been listening since the beginning and still love to put on an episode when I’m at the gym, doing laundry etc. Personally I prefer to listen to new original episodes rather than Gilmore to Say Revisited/recycled content so I don’t listen as much a as I used to but the new episodes that come out I love! I think the one thing I flat out don’t like is that this podcast has a bit too many ads 😕 and I know a lot of podcasts have ads and there really aren’t any with no ads but it’s a bit out of control when you have an episode that’s under an hour with 4-5 ads. Not loving that but over all I enjoy it and I’m glad to have something to put on for my long drives! 🤩
My go-to podcast for good feels
Sometimes we need to take a step back from what’s heavy and sad in the world and just dissect something we care about, but at the end of the day has absolutely no stakes. I love listening to this podcast to get into the nitty gritty of a show I love so much as a break from everything in this world that can feel like just too much. You girlies are funny, I love the guests, and I love Haley’s book reccs!
Fun but could use a little more polish
Generally fun and engaging discussion but the volume of their audio vs the ads is jarring. Every time an ad starts I jump.
