Collin, thanks for curating your guests and bringing me to thoughtful contemplation that is part of my transformation. This is excellent. I appreciate the reflection from Justin that informs my attitude and actions and heart now. (Mango’s mom)

1/2 of my Favorite Podcasts

Along with Life, Books, and Everything (featuring Colin Hansen quite often), Gospelbound is easily one of my favorite podcasts. It is rare that I miss or skip an episode. Colin is one of the best question-askers I have ever listened to. So thankful for such great content coming out of TGC.

TGC espouses modern liberal progressive woke ideology over biblical truth

JB Audio boi2/4/2025

TGC espouses modern liberal progressive woke ideology over biblical truth. In doing so they are clearly seeking to please man rather than God. They push feminism and anti-white rhetoric because that happens to align with the spirit of the age but would be foreign to centuries of Christian fathers

Mostly good but sometimes frustrating

I found the last episode about parenting and women not having children to be a bit frustrating. Definitely need a woman’s point of view to weigh in there. As a woman in my late 30’s I always assumed I would be married and have a few kids by now. However that has not been my story. However I’m so glad I live in a time where I have the option to pursue a career and grow in my faith and skills all the while being open and hoping to have a family of my own. I’m so glad I don’t live in a time when I’m forced to marry someone that isn’t great or stuck at home living as a spinster because it never happened. Glorifying “family values” always seems to be the norm in religious circles and it excludes. We seem to forget about Paul and all the amazing other SINGLE saints. Also sometimes I wish the host would stop asking long and leading questions. Let the guests talk instead of pigeon-holing the questions for a specific response. Otherwise mostly solid.
