Hard Fork

I have a NYT subscription. I added the paid podcast URL. My surprise when the very first thing I hear is an advert. What am I paying for? Does NY Times greed know no bounds?

I’ve always liked this podcast but Casey used to bug me a little, leaning a little too hard on quips during interviews. I think he’s gotten a lot better at balancing humor and serious questions.

Seriously? The economy is doing well right now for the general public? In April 2026? What bubble is this person living in? Unfortunately I think one of the hosts is very, Very biased towards tech & AI which shows in his coverage of everything on the podcast. He brushes past a lot of real critiques of tech & AI. He says he has real concerns……doesn’t seem like it. He is very biased and it shows. This podcast was more even, critical, less biased in the past, not anymore unfortunately.

These two hosts really know how to bring their personality to an otherwise dull tech news media landscape. Kevin and Casey have a great banter that keeps me coming back. Their coverage of the news is well balanced albeit a bit sarcastic but I'd be remiss if I say I didn't enjoy it. Plus their guests seem to get a word in edgewise every time. Great show!

Kevin and Casey are alsolutely hilarious and the content is extremely relevant and informative.
