I’m learning so much about scripture through this Bible study. It’s been so helpful. Highly recommend.

Here’s what I love about this podcast. It isn’t a brief overview, scripted type of podcast. There are several Bible reading plans on the Internet. But this is different. Rachel takes her time to help the audience understand who the original audience was written to, how they would have understood things differently based on their culture and then helps us understand how to understand scripture in our culture.

I have been listening to Rachael for about three years. I stumbled across her podcast during a time when I needed more spirituality. I purchased her devotional She Hears where I learned the color method of Bible Study. As a minister whose just became an Elder, I’ve been in various bible classes etc but the way Rachael teaches it reveals things to me I may have missed before. I now text her daily affirmations to my Youth Committee and it has been such a blessing to them. Rachael continue to allow God to use you as you spread the gospel of Jesus! Love ya sis! Tamron

I discovered Rachael on a Proverbs 31 ministries podcast episode less than a year ago. I didnt immediately look up Rachael’s “Hearing Jesus” Podcast - but somehow it revealed itself on my Podcast suggestion list. So, I subscribed and have been listening daily ever since. This was during the Psalms series. I am blown away with the connection I have with Rachael as she walks and talks us through each verse… each word for that particular study of scripture. She ties in the constant theme of knowing God more… and making Him Known. Spending time with Him is how we do that- specifically through studying His Word, the Bible. This is where He speaks and reveals himself to us individually. I honestly cannot put into words the value I have gained from this podcast and my now deeper and more personal relationship I have with my Creator and Savior, Jesus. I am current listening to the latest Bible Study series on Luke. I am following along with her Color Method of studying the Bible. What a game changer in how I understand God’s word these days. Thank YOU Rachael for sharing your gifts and wisdom to us, so that we too can grow deeper in our relationships with the Lord.

I “found” the Hearing Jesus podcast when searching to rekindle my faith, to make it feel less conceptual and more personal. This podcast has been a beautiful place to begin. It’s helping me slow down, listen, and recognize God’s presence in the everyday moments of my life. I love that Rachel doesn’t push politics or a denomination, but instead teaches us how to recognize God’s voice in our own lives—and gives us the confidence and courage to follow it.
