I appreciate open discussion on politics and pop culture and just random stories. I love Van and Rachel. I think they complement each other well and I appreciate their insights and opinions. I look forward to seeing them live one day.

5 star content, 1 star technology. You have to have had many complaints about this. I know there is technology to avoid this problem. Rachel’s voice is consistently clear and crisp. Van’s speaking is a roller coaster of mostly almost whispering with infrequent loudness for emphasis. He speaks very rapidly and especially in his many rapid asides, he speaks in a whisper. It is torture for the listener. I value his takes very much but I can’t babysit the volume control on my phone constantly for the entire length of the show. If riding my bike, it is the Rachel-only show Such a drag. I love this show. They are both brilliant. I skip so much good information because of this tech problem. Has Van listened to himself vs Rachel? Can’t you get a modulator for his mic volume and help us out???

I love this show and look forward to it every week. Van Lathan is gonna blow my ear drums up though because he goes from either whispering or talking from the other room to all of the sudden screaming.

Glad to see Van back on the podcast airwaves!! Great concept with a good flow and format. Love the flow between Van and Rachel.
