History of the Germans

Very solid history podcast but the occasional references to modern politics are unhelpful and a bit jarring when they come up. Enjoying it quite a lot so far aside from that one point.

Recommended by John Yohalem, I started listening and it is wonderful. Good for someone who knows a little bit and wants to know a lot more.

I love history podcasts and this is one of the best in a complex swirl of competing interests internally and externally. He takes a swipe at Trump, but nobody is perfect. Highly recommend!

I love the show, I’d very much love to hear the long history of Alsace, in particular the northeast portion near wissembourg and how it fell under French control in the 1600s

It’s very well written love the dry sense of humor it doesn’t miss a thing it’s the best podcast I’ve found so far by a lot I wait for every Thursday for me and some of my friends and family to enjoy it my mother has a very stressful job and it helps her a lot one of the main thing I’m asking for Christmas is a history of the Germans membership my friends all come over after school and we all listen together commenting and laughing at some of the awesome jokes you make and then act totally normal about it -written by my son (to all those people out there who are upset about bios everyone has a bios but it’s good he’s making his bios clear so you know what to filter out of your view of history so suck it up) (to those complaining about the fact that he talked about Elon musk doing the hitler salute as a descendent of holocaust survivors it’s very sensitive and if he didn’t condemn musk for it then that would be allowing a direct attack on a Jewish sense of security!)
