Love Vanessa and Natalie’s thoughtful reporting on the light and dark sides of pop culture. They are excellent interviewers and always have interesting guests. I look forward to new episodes every week!

Spamming my feed

I really dislike when a podcast puts “you might also like XYZ show” in my feed with every episode release. I had to unfollow to stop the feed spam.

Misleading

Amazing when I check out this podcast for the first time you think I’m going to hear about the Sweeney story and it’s literally 45 seconds of the entire podcast that is talking about misleading advertising on the Internet. Practice what you preach I guess.

Brangelina

What the hell? This is incredibly poorly reported. The plane incident is known because there was an emergency landing which necessitated an FAA report…not her reaching out the FBI. Basic, glaring oversight that changes the story entirely. The Baldoni-Lively episode should have been my out but this is another example of willfully misleading or simply lazy storytelling that is just gross. You’re framing it like a difference of opinions with your audience and your storytelling when you’re mis-stating facts about a case involving a violent incident involving minor children. Do better for future audience members. If you can’t get the basics right about established facts, how on earth would anyone want to stick around for the narrative pieces that could be construed as a difference of opinion? Xx someone who stuck around long enough know y’all don’t know enough before you hit publish.

disappointing

as someone who has been following all court documents and repercussions of the iewu movie, you guys did a very poor job reporting simple facts, and adding your biased assumptions and speculations as if they were facts. when 10 claims out of 13 get completely tossed in the garbage, when the judge clearly state even if she was an employee, which she wasn’t, the facts she brought up to justify her sh were not in fact sh by any stretch of imagination. the interest of people like me on this case is the thirst for justice, we do not want to see the bully (blake and ryan reynolds) win. blake blatantly weaponized “feminism” to try to take over the script of the movie, when in fact it wasn’t even blake who wrote the script changes, it was ryan as she admitted in 4k. she weaponized the law to bully the little guy and get her reputation back. she is no victim, she (and her husband) are the perpetrators. shame on your poor investigative skills.
