Fantastic podcast
A great podcast that keeps us up-to-date on what’s happening in the world of ID medicine. A nice blend of info on both the clinical and research side of things. I enjoy that it’s not too long and gets right to the content. While I enjoy the production as is, I would also enjoy a bit more discussion from the clinical/practical side of things. Could just be more anecdotes thrown in when different diseases or meds come up in the papers they discuss, or more case review/studies again with some of their highly regarded expert opinions and experiences sprinkled for example. Really enjoy listening and wish I knew of more podcasts like this from other specialties. This is a very valuable resource for clinicians.
Paid insurance executives.
Democrats that can’t let go and recognize they lost. I know So many infectious disease physicians and pathologists that want to debate them but they refuse. Believe 1/10 of what they say. They will claim no sponsors while we eat daily lunches with drug reps giving them stuff. Again 1/10th of their information is good. He is senior fellow in infectious disease at United Health Group is all need to know. He’s a Paid insurance executive. Run run run. Paid whores doctors to big pharmaceutical industry
Keeping up to date
Every two weeks we get a concise review of articles that are interesting and entertaining based on review of hundreds of published peer reviewed papers. How else does one really stay up to date?
“Puscast” lol
Perfect name. Disgusting but perfect
Terrible
This used to be a great podcast back in the day. With the new crew we get now review paper recommendations instead of original articles too often. It misses a lot of important papers. Still hoping that maybe some day there will be a podcast with important literature, concise without too much chitchat, having in mind most of the ID providers that are extremely busy everyday and don’t have a whole hour to hear about what color clothes the podcast hosts are wearing or what’s their favorite snack, etc.
