As someone who thinks it would be super awarding to work for the fbi I think this is a super cool podcast by the fbi that gives a sliver of what they do. I would recommend it anyone.

I often hear how people blame federal law enforcement agencies not understanding that these people stand between the American people and those who wish them harm. These heroes dedicate their whole lives to making sure that Americans can sleeping peacefully at night and be safe in the streets. The gentleman said it right, Americans should want to partner with law enforcement agencies to defend our country from those who wish us harm. Support your law enforcement. They give their lives for you! Be grateful. If it were not for them, no one would be safe in the world that we live in right now. Thank you for the podcast! Keep them coming! And to those who complain that this podcast is not entertaining enough, if you come here for entertainment, perhaps you should stick to entertainment media, which is available here as well.

I teach a digital media class and try to find and share engaging podcasts with my students. When I discovered that the official FBI had a podcast, I was so excited to share it with my class. After listening to a few episodes, I don’t see any real value in sharing (or listening) again. There is a serious lack of interaction and primary source engagement. It sounds like interns were given a set of audio records and asked to tell its story. Narrators give little to nothing about the topic, and instead just summarize portions of interviews that they cut to here and there. These interviews are more similar to speeches; with no discourse or regular theme. Too bad.
