Lipstick on the Rim

I was so excited to hear their “toolkit” advice on the most recent episode but the entire thing is just one big add for supplements, shapewear, and all the other things. I don’t think there was a product mentioned that wasn’t a sponsorship. I understand this is needed for content creators, but I’ve never heard anything so egregious.

I’ve listed to a number of episodes, hoping to like this podcast. The topics seem great but the actual content makes me crazy. I can’t do it anymore. The hosts talking over each other - one of them continually just repeats back what the other is aging - is so distracting. And they are very out of touch with the everyday reality of how people live in the U.S. these days. The most recent episode on staying snatched included and endless list of very expensive products and services that most of us can not afford to incorporate into our daily lives.

This podcast is all over the place. I feel like the episodes about fashion are the best!!

I’ve been listening since the beginning. They provide all the topics many are interested in with top quality guests. I love their friendship and can picture them laughing at some of these reviews. I decided to write a review after all the surprising negative reviews.
