Varied Perspectives

Alazana8424/11/2025

The Potters Cast is the people’s ceramics podcast. The enormous variety of perspectives and paths should help any clay artist develop their own career and studio practice.

Paul Blais has a wonderful relatable approach to his interviews. It always elevates my day when I listen to his chats with the many talented ceramic artists he talks to. He is a gift!

I really enjoyed my conversation with Paul. He’s very inquisitive and considerate in his approach to interviews. His knowledge and passion for clay as a creative endeavor and career is honest and humble. I’ve gained a lot of good info and insights from all the interviews I’ve listened to. Great podcast!

As a guest on this show, it was an absolute honor and privilege to work with Paul. He is incredibly professional, charismatic, and cares deeply about the ceramics community. Huge thank you to Paul for providing this platform for the ceramics community and beyond.

Throwing Water Bucket List

Being a guest on The Potters Cast has been on my “throwing water bucket list” for years — and I finally got to check it off! To say I was honored (and more than a little bit nervous) would be an understatement. Paul, thank you for welcoming me with such warmth and curiosity. You made the whole experience feel like a conversation at the wheel with an old friend. I even saved the soundbite — “Michael Cole, welcome to The Potters Cast” — and I play it whenever I need a reminder that I belong in this wonderful world of clay, ceramics, and pottery. Your show has been inspiring me for many years, and now I get to be a tiny part of it. I’m so stoked! Lots of love to you, Paul.
