Listened to the newest episode while driving by the universal studios minion (just learned he’s Stuart), auspicious can’t wait to hear more

Good not great

To be sure there was lots there. And the parts about Jenna were very very interesting. But there were a lot of episodes that quite frankly had nothing to do with Jenna Jamison. some of them certainly were about historical stuff in the industry, but some of I really don’t see what the point were of having them in the episode and felt like filler material. Overall though I give it a solid “B”

Not just about Jenna

One thing that should be noted about this podcast is despite being called “Jennaworld” it is not solely about Jenna. They talk about some other leaders in the adult film industry, both behind the scenes (some magazine creator?) and other adult film starlets (Ginger Lynn, Savannah). I didn’t mind talk about the other starlets bc they paved the path for Jenna but I didn’t understand why entire episodes were dedicated to behind the scenes players. I came here to hear about one woman’s story, not the magazine heads. It’s “Jennaworld” not “p*rnworld” in general. That being said, I found the Jenna focused episodes to be well-researched and interesting. I read Jenna’s memoir and still I was hearing new information in the episodes I hadn’t known. It was super engaging, as Jenna has led an extremely entertaining life. Unfortunately, the main host kept inserting her unfunny, off-topic political beliefs into narrative that had nothing to do with it. I got so sick of hearing her hamfisted communist nonsense, I had to put it on 2x speed. These increased as the podcast got into later episodes, like she couldn’t help but yap about her politics even though that isn’t what the listener is here for

Annoying

Tried to listen to this, but the voices they do for the excerpts are too annoying.

Loved it!

This is nerdy & tangential, but I was surprised & delighted to hear the voices of some of my favorite podcasters: Karina Longworth, Natalie Robehmed, Jamie Loftus. The scope, style, & subject matter of this podcast is simillar to podcasts produced by the aforementioned creators. These folks might consider starting a production company together.
